We here at Bliss are looking to hire 2-4 Kennel Technicians. You do not need any previous experience, just a positive attitude, are hard-working, have a good work ethic, good time management, and welcome feedback to grow! We train the right candidates on the main necessary skill of reading dog body language. This position is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about managing dog behavior and obedience of dogs. The chosen candidate will be working directly with our dog daycare groups for 2-3 hours each shift and our boarding/kenneled dogs before and after daycare. We aren’t looking for just anyone who wants a job, but those who are passionate about animals and can see themselves growing in responsibility and leadership over the next 1+ years with us.

About Us: Bliss Pet Resort and Spa is Prosper’s first and only luxury dog boarding and doggy daycare center. We just completed a renovation to include beautiful new dog turf, new fencing, and a fancy bone-shaped pool for the dogs! If you love animals and are willing to work hard and commit to providing excellent customer service to our guests and their owners.

Seeking to hire part-time team members, (full-time special consideration with experience only) flexible availability is preferred 7 days a week. Shifts vary between 4-6 hours and some days you may be asked to work two shifts with a one and a half-hour lunch in between. (The first shift runs from 6:30-12:30 pm and the second shift is from 1:45-7:30 -the ideal candidate has the availability to work either shift.) Must be open to working all holidays and weekends as those are our busy times.

Daily tasks include:

-Providing engagement and supervision for dogs in playgroups up to 15 -20 dogs for 2-3 hours a shift

-Facilitating daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering mediation, taking out for walks and potty breaks, among other tasks).

-Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs.

-Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility.

-Minimizing the stress of the dogs in our care by providing effective management and being responsive to their needs.

-Maintaining accurate records and activity logs for the care provided.

-Working as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment by using effective communication skills.

Many opportunities for growth and advancement from within (including leadership positions and opportunities to be cross-trained on the front desk).

This position is ideal for someone with a love for dogs and a desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

-is a high school graduate (or has their GED).

About Us:

Bliss Pet Resort & Spa is searching for a Pet Groomer/Stylist with high standards and a professional attitude to join our team! We are a pet resort that offers dog boarding, dog daycare, and grooming. We groom 6 days a week 8 am-6:30 pm and need availability during those days/time.

Days/ Hours Needed:

Full-Time position is needed Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to finish with 6 groom dogs of various sizes per day.

What we are Looking for:

If you have a positive, friendly attitude, are a fun-loving energetic person who can get along with and work well with others and take direction from management, you might be a great fit! Also, good communication skills with customers and staff are a must. Must be knowledgeable of all dog breeds and their standard cuts, have proper animal handling skills, and must have own basic equipment ( shears, clippers, brushes, and combs, etc. ) We provide the bathing tub, state of the art tables, shampoos, bandanas/bows, scents.

Minimum Requirements:

Open Availability- 3+ years of paid experience as a professional trained groomer (current portfolio and client references required)- Ability to groom dogs of all sizes according to breed standards or customer request-Excellent scissoring abilities- Ability to take direction from others and to work independently or as a team- Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance- Your own grooming equipment (clippers, blades, shears,) Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs without assistance-Working around major holidays is a must as this is a peak time. Cat grooming is a plus!

Bliss Pet Resort & Spa is hiring two Front Desk Receptionists with a strong customer service background, proven upsales record, superb phone skills, great attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

About Us : We are a 6 year old boutique dog daycare, boarding and grooming spa located north of Frisco in Prosper. We offer dog boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services. Our focus is on providing exceptional customer service and quality care in a luxury resort atmosphere. We are single location expanding to a second brand new location in the Lewisville Castle Hills area at this end of this year. We are looking for dynamic individuals to help us grow and be successful!

Schedule & Hours: The position hours are scheduled between 7am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays 7:45am- 5:30pm and occasional phones/admin from home on Sundays. Special consideration for flexibility to work hours between 7am and 6pm as well as some weekends. This position may start out part time during training and reach full time. Must be available the day before and after major holidays and summers as this is our peak season.

Location: Our location is 200 E 1st St Prosper TX. 75078. After thorough training, you will also be scheduled to from your home answering calls, etc. Must have a home office with desk, computer, and printer.
